Abstract
Persistent or treatment-resistant auditory hallucination, causing significant distress and disturbing behavior, can be seen in some of patients with schizophrenia, Recently, encouraging results have been reported with the use of transcranial magnetic stimulation in patients with treatment-resistant auditory hallucination. However, durability of its effect is still questionable. On the other hand, cognitive-behavioral therapy is more easy to use and its long-term effect has been reported as well. Hence, we report 2 cases with treatment-resistant auditory hallucination using cognitive-behavioral therapy.
